How to get here...
...by airplane
Airport Münster/Osnabrück: Express buses towards Münster depart in front of the airport's main entrance.They will take you to Münster's main train station. Here, follow the instructions "by bus & train".
Airport Düsseldorf: Bus stops for shuttle buses, which will take you to the train station "Düsseldorf/Flughafen" (Düsseldorf/airport), are in front of each terminal. Here, you can take a train to Münster. For a time schedule please take a look at Deutsche Bahn online. After arriving at Münster's main train station please follow the instructions "by bus & train".
...by bus & train
Buses depart in front of the main entrance of Münster's train station. Take line number 5 (at bus stop B2, direction "Hannaschweg") or line number 11 (at bus stop B1, direction "Gievenbecker Reihe"). Exit the bus at bus stop "Schreiberstrasse". Turn left at the traffic lights into "Fliednerstrasse". The department is right in front of you.
Alternatively you can take bus numbers 4 (bus stop B3, direction "Schmeddingstrasse"), 20 (bus stop B1, towards "Roxel Hallenbad"), 34 (bus stop C3, towards "Schmeddingstrasse") or 563 (bus stop B1, towards "Coesfeld Bahnhof") and exit at bus stop "Zentralklinikum". Go back a few meters and turn left at the second footpath. This way you will arrive at the backside of the building. Walk around and enter.
The bus trip from the main train station to Fliednerstrasse takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
...by car
From the south: From Autobahn A1 or A43 take exit "Zentrum" at the motorway junction "Münster-Süd". After a few hundred meters follow the sign "Zoo/Uni-Kliniken". After another 2-3 km turn left towards "Zentralklinikum", cross the first traffic light straight and turn left at the second one ("Fliednerstrasse"). You are heading directly towards the department.
From the north: From Autobahn A1 take the exit "Zentrum" at the motorway junction "Münster-Nord". Follow this street until you reach the first big traffic light in Münster. Turn right towards "Zoo/Uni-Kliniken". At the third intersection turn again right (towards "Zentralklinikum"). Cross the first traffic lights straight. Turn left at the second traffic lights ("Fliednerstrasse"). You are heading directly towards the department.
