Location
The workshop will be held at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University, Münster, Germany in the Fürstenberghaus, Am Domplatz 20-22, 48143 Münster, Room F5. The Fürstenberghaus is located in the city center at the Domplatz (west end of the square for North-Americans). So, if your hotel is located in the center of Münster, the Fürstenberghaus probably will be within walking distance.

Getting here and around
A bicycle is the means of transportation in Münster. Münster has the highest concentration of bicycles in Germany. Bicycles can be rented at the Fahrrad Station Münster which is close to the train station. But in order to come to Münster you probably come by airplane, train or car. The nearest airport is the Flughafen Münster-Osnabrück. You need to take a bus (D50, S50 or R51, ticket: 5.00 €, group ticket five people after 9:00 AM: 6.90 €) or a taxi to go to Münster. The ride takes 30-60 minutes depending which bus you catch. Larger international airports are Schiphol, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt, Germany. It takes about 3-4 hours from Schiphol (you have to change trains), 1.5-2 hours from Düsseldorf (change trains one time), 3-4.5 hours from Frankfurt by train (direct and change trains). For detailed information check www.bahn.de. If you intend to come by car take the A1 or the A43, exit at Münster Süd or Münster North and then follow the road signs into the city center. Long term parking is difficult in the city. Be prepared to pay for parking. The workshop fee includes a three-day pass for public transportation.
From ESCoP to IWLP
People coming from the ESCoP conference in Marseille could travel with easy jet from Nice to Dortmund (go downtown and take a train to Münster, about 30 minutes), with german wings from Nice to Cologne (go downtown and take a train to Münster, about 1.5 hours), with airberlin from Nice to Münster (take the bus or a taxi), with ryanair from Marseille to Eindhoven, The Netherlands. It takes about 3.5 to 4 hours to travel from Eindhoven to Münster by train. There might be other flight options (e.g. Lufthansa, KLM, Air France aso.)
An international sculpture exhibition, Skulptur Projekte Münster 07, takes place at the time of the workshop. It might be worth to schedule an extra day for visiting the exhibition.
