  • born 1979
  • 1998 Abitur (general qualification for university entrance) at the Private Episcopal Canisiusschool Ahaus
  • 10/1998 - 01/2005 Studies in psychology at the University of Muenster; Degree: Dipl.-Psych. [Diplom]
  • since 02/2005 research associate in the team of Prof. R. Bromme
  • 01/2006 - 12/2008: fellow of the Virtual Ph.D. Program (VGK) "Knowledge acquisition and knowledge exchange with new media" funded by the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft)
  • since 07/2009 assistance in coordinating the DFG-funded Priority Program 1409 "Science and the general public: Understanding fragile and conflicting scientific evidence" (postdoctoral position)
  • 02/2010: PhD (Dr. phil.) received from the WWU Münster; Dissertation: "Whom to blame - the source of information or myself? - Personal epistemology and personal ability in dealing with medical information on the Internet" (obtainable at  Logos Verlag Berlin).
