About the Autumn School
Autumn School 2006 of the Virtual Ph. D. Program VGK:
Improving Computer-mediated Learning and Collaborative Work: Which are the Promising Concepts?
Monday, 2nd to Thursday, 5th October 2006
Münster, Germany
The VGK autumn school 2006 will provide an opportunity to explore the diverse range of approaches and contexts for improving computer-mediated learning and collaborative work. The emphasis is on metacognition, epistemological beliefs, and computer-supported guidance (like scripting or external representations).
The autumn school will be conducted in a workshop format. VGK members, invited speakers and external guests work together on specific topics, bringing together all their different backgrounds to improve academic exchange.
In addition, the autumn school provides an opportunity for the VGK Ph.D. students to share their current dissertation work-in-progress with their peers, faculty members and external guests.
